The City Of Bath
Bath itself is famed for its incredible history and stunning Georgian architecture. There is so much for our guests to see and do, including the legendary Roman Baths - an ancient Roman bathing complex in the very centre of the city which was constructed to utilise the city's natural hot springs. The beautifully preserved baths provide a fascinating insight into the history of the area. For those actually wishing to swim in the famous hot springs, why not try the recently opened Thermae Bath Spa; perfect for relaxing and taking a break from the bustle of sightseeing. Other famous landmarks of the area include the Circus and Royal Crescent - world renowned examples of the architecture that makes Bath famous. Bath is always a great place to spend an afternoon shopping with its many stores and cafes, and the Southgate area of the city centre has recently been re-developed to add a large number of fantastic new shops to the city.
